Design Philosophy

Falling Waters is being planned as a unique community - one in which an individual or family lifestyle fits seamlessly with the natural setting of the mountains. In short, we are creating a Community with an accurate and tasteful sense of place.

Architectural Guidance

Our architectural promise will be carefully planned, designed and managed by a team of renowned architects. Home designs will feature straightforward forms, simple details, and native, long-favored wood species and stone types. These natural elements connect homes to their settings and extend an unpretentious welcome to all.

Our Featured Architects

  • Platt Architecture - Traditionally, mountain life has been about seeking, choosing, making and holding a home place. A place where you are defined and rewarded by all you see, not just what you own. A place where you feel at home in the landscape, just as much as you do in your house built upon it. —Al Platt
  • Kemp Hall Studio - Steve Kemps' design philosophy is rooted in the fact that we make no real distinction between interior and exterior architectural design. Our approach is holistic and based on a deep understanding of the human scale and the end user's relationship to the space in which they live, work and play.
  • Kirkland + Associates Architects P.C. - Pat Kirkland designs custom homes in keeping with their core philosophy to design homes in proportion to a site and with regard to the environment. The clients' design goals and the natural features of the land set forth the design program for the Architects.
  • TS Adams Studio - TS Adams Studio, Architects' designs combine timeless standards of quality, scale, proportion, and detail with modern sensibility. They integrate your vision, lifestyle and site to design an inspired structure that reflects your personality while blending seamlessly with the surroundings.
